Dry Suit Course
Stay DRY and WARMER!! Water conducts heat 25 times faster than air. As you get cold you lose energy, manual dexterity, and you use more air. This course is designed to train you in the use of dry suits, educate you on various types of dry suits and dry dive wear and help you make a decision on the best type of dry suit and dive wear for your type of diving.
With your certification you can buy or rent dry suits!
This DRY! course consists of :
• 3 hours of classroom
• Pool training with a dry suit and undergarment
• 2 ocean dives
• Optional boat diving
Tuition: $125.00
Certification: $30.00
Equipment: $65.00 Dry Suit rental / per day (additional gear available for rent)
Prerequisites:
• Basic Open Water certification or equivalent.
• Participants must provide all their own equipment or rent required equipment. Buy a dry suit from IB Divers and receive this course for FREE!
